Internet Troubleshooting (Steps to Success)
If your internet is down your first step is to call your internet service provider. If you use high speed this will probably be:
Comcast (1888COMCAST)
SBC (1877 SBC DSL 5)
or Verizon
You'll need to ask them if there is an outage in your area. They'll do a quick test on your line from their headquarters and tell you whether it's your computer or whether there's something wrong with the service. If your Internet Service Provider says it's your computer we can help.
